Electrical Design Engineer with 20+ years of experience in design processes, manufacturing, and construction methods.
I design a product from the research, development and manufacturing stage to the installation and final commissioning stage.
I have worked and led teams of engineers worldwide, in the UK, Afghanistan, France, Kenya, Falkland Islands and Guyana.
My background consists of significant work for the MOD as lead designer and coordinator - projects include airfield hospitals, dental wing, TUAV hangar, HQ&OPs facility, training camps, a primary school, and vehicle & maintenance workshop/warehouses.
Other builds include ISO modular containers fitted out as a satellite communication module, an anaerobic digester, ablutions, offices, and engineering workshops.
In the last five years, I have expanded my portfolio to working in oil and gas, designing site enablement for construction teams on a UK-based oil refinery, and the infrastructure and utilities on a shore base for a major petroleum, oil and gas company in Guyana.
With the increasing demand for Electric Vehicles (EV), Goldtek proudly provides a survey and design & installation service for integrating EV charging stations at businesses and domestic premises. For the installs, Goldtek has joined in partnership with MAH Electrical Contractors Ltd (OZEV registered).
Every successfully delivered project has team spirit, deadline-orientated attitudes, and precise 2D or 3D specification drawings showing "exact installation placements" with "accurate material take-offs."
